Las Trampas Wilderness Regional Preserve offers 5,778 acres of wilderness and an expanded trail system that allows hikers and horseback riders to enjoy its remote and rugged areas. The park's size and terrain allow visitors a feeling of privacy and escape from urban hustle and bustle. Carry plenty of drinking water for yourself, your dog(s), and your horse(s) when visiting the park. The park's water supply is inconsistent and water may be unavailable at any time.

Hiker's choice of short (4.7 mi, 1200 ft), medium (7.2 mi, 2200 ft) or long (9.4 mi, 3000 ft) hike. Beginning at the parking lot, Rocky Ridge View Trail, left on Cuesta Trail. Short hike will turn left on Rocky Ridge View Trail, left on Elderberry Trail, left on Bollinger Creek Loop Trail to parking lot.

Medium and long hikes will turn right on Rocky Ridge View Trail, left on Sycamore Trail, left on Devil's Hole Trail, right on Rocky Ridge View Trail, left on Elderberry Trail, medium hike left on Bollinger Creek Loop Trail to parking lot.

Long hike will turn right on Bollinger Creek Loop Trail, right on Chamise Trail, right on Mahogany Trail, right on Trapline Trail, left on Calaveras Ridge Trail, left on Chamise Trail and right on Bollinger Creek Loop Trail to parking lot.
